Teaching Classes of ADS 2016 Giving Impact on Faith of Conference Participants

Classes began on Friday, June 17th, 2016 – the second day of the Asian Discipleship Summit. They began at 10 am in the morning and ran until 3 pm in the afternoon. On Saturday, June 18th, 2016, classes resumed, and participants were divided into fifteen classes that began at 9 am and ended at noon.

All the classes have different topics in order to cater to the wide variety of participants’ needs, ages, professions, spiritual maturity, gifts, callings and so forth. However, they all maintained the same conference theme – “Come Follow Me”. This exemplifies the fact that though disciples are all different, we are all called to follow the same God.

Topics of the classes included: Come Follow Me, The Vine & The Good Shepherd, I Have Decided to Follow Jesus, No Turning Back, Following the God who Calls Us Friends, and Fishers of Men Will I Make You. In addition, there were topics on marriage, parenting, and one held in cooperation with HOPE worldwide – Promoting Mental Health through HOPE Worldwide.

The classes were very impactful to many participants, inspiring them spiritually in many ways. Andrew, Jeff, and Will were among those who participated and felt greatly helped, moved, and inspired by the lessons. One of them shared that they felt particularly impacted by Mark Templer’s class called “Blinded by Pride, Charmed by the World.” He afterwards approached Mark to personally express his thanks as well as to ask for his help in reaching out to his friend in Dubai.

To God be the glory.
